The PCA is delighted to confirm that Edward Thomas is the first company to have passed its compliance audit and has now been awarded their certification. Edward Thomas successfully completed a forensic analysis of all processes and procedures utilised in relation to their payroll models and organisational structures, which was conducted throughout the summer of 2023 by Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP.

The globally renowned accountancy firm completed its audit report of factual findings against the PCA's accreditation framework and in full accordance with the international Standard on Related Services (ISRS) 4400 'Agreed-Upon Procedures Engagements'.

The PCA is thrilled that Edward Thomas embraced the demands of the audit process and co-operated fully with the PwC team to facilitate a transparent and independent review of their respective payroll operations. We have numerous other firms in the process of undertaking the PCA audit with PwC, and we look forward to the results of their reports in due course.
